BEA Systems is reporting, though they haven't given an actual time. Analysts expected 13 cents a share for the third quarter. There had been a lot of news on this one after an analyst gave out a possible buyout from Hewlett-Packard. There shares are trader higher in anticipation on the news. Any positivity will most likely send their share prices higher.
Deere & Company announced earnings already, with EPS at $2.72 far exceeding $2.41 a share that was expected for their second quarter. Their shares are already trading higher over the news.
Hewlett-Packard Co. is also reporting today after the bell, along side BEA Systems. Their shares are trading lower, but it's worth mentioning that last week, they came out to let investors know that they should be expecting better sales but lower earnings. Analysts are expected them to report second-quarter earnings of 69 cents a share.
PetSmart Inc. looks to be a possible jumper. They will be announcing after the bell tonight as well. Analysts are expecting earnings at 33 cents a share for the first quarter. Shares are trading higher in anticipation of really good results, possibly outperforming others to be out today.
Salesforce.com Inc. also reporting after the closing bell. Another good looker, and investors are expecting first-quarter earnings of 8 cents a share. Shares are trading up 3% and expecting possible higher after-hours.
Ctrip.com International Ltd., China's version of Expedia Inc., is also announcing after closing bell tonight at 9:00pm. Analysts are pushing for 24 cents a share, and after recent earnings news by other Chinese Internet companies, a positive news is most likely expected.
Out tomorrow before closing bell comes:
J.C. Penney Company Inc. will be announcing tomorrow morning at 9:30am. With Winn-Dixie Stores Inc. announcing yesterday and beating expectations by a margin, many investors are not looking at J.C. Penny with much anticipation. Analysts are expecting results to come to $1.03 a share.
Raven Industries Inc. also to be announcing before morning bell tomorrow. Analyst expects EPS to come in at 39 cents a share. This one was upgraded twice in the past weeks.
